In the morning meet with the guide at the hotel lobby and proceed on tour.

Tour will start with visiting the Grand Mosque of Oman, the Mosque of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, one of the biggest mosques in the world. The carpet placed in the mosque is in the Guinness records book as the biggest carpet in the world.

Please note: Grand Mosque is open for tourists from 8 am to 11 am from Saturday to Thursday. At the same time, the library is open from 9 am to 2 am and 4 pm to 9 pm Saturday to Wednesday (on Thursday the library is open for the morning session only). Visitors must dress conservatively, especially women who must cover their hair, shoulders, and arms when they visit the mosque, men should wear trousers and not shorts.

After we will have a transfer to the Batinah region where fort Nahal is located. Fort was built around a large, oddly shaped boulder at the base of Mount Nakhal, which occasionally juts out into the fort’s interior. Surrounded by a palm tree oasis fort Nahal looks very impressive and is considered one of the most beautiful forts in Oman.

After the fort visit, we will stop in an oasis near the hot springs.

Later back to Muscat and continue the Muscat sightseeing tour. We will visit Beit Al Zubair Museum. We will make a stop for photography near the gate of Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial palace of Sultan Qaboos. Later we proceed to Corniche road where you can see forts Jalali and Mirani. There is also the traditional market Mutrah Souk, where you will have free time to buy gifts and souvenirs.

At the end of the tour back to the hotel.
