Four-hour morning city tour of the traditional and modern capital of the Sultanate of Oman – Muscat.​​

In the morning meeting with the guide in the lobby of the hotel.

The tour starts with visiting the Grand mosque of Oman, the Mosque of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, one of the biggest mosques in the world. The mosque features a blend of Islamic, Middle Eastern, and Omani architectural styles, and hosts one of the world’s most oversized handmade Persian rugs and one of the world’s biggest crystal chandeliers.

Please note: Grand Mosque is open for tourists from 8 am to 11 am from Saturday to Thursday. At the same time, the library is open from 9 am to 2 am and 4 pm to 9 pm Saturday to Wednesday (on Thursday the library is open for the morning session only). Visitors must dress conservatively, especially women who must cover their hair, shoulders, and arms when they visit the mosque, men should wear trousers and not shorts.

Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum and the famous Mattrah Souq - one of the oldest markets in Oman - where you will have free time to buy souvenirs and gifts. The market is located at the ancient sea-front promenade Corniche, on a bay which ships visited from every part of the world and where two Portuguese forts, Jalali and Mirani, have stood watch for centuries. Then, take advantage of a photo opportunity near the Al Alam Palace – Sultan Qaboos Bin Said’s working residence.
