You will be driven from Muscat about 80 kms further to reach Nakhal.
Stop at Nakhal
Visit the 1500-year-old magnificent Nakhal Fort, located at the top of a rocky mountain cliff, surrounded by date plantations. The fort has has witnessed many battles and its packed full of hidden escape routes and secret passages. You can stroll around the restored ancient fort that has been decorated with traditional furniture and handicraft articles.

Stop at Wadi Bani Awf
Proceed to The “Snake Canyon” a very narrow gorge situated in the middle of “Wadi Bani Awf”. 
The wadi leads directly to the picturesque Snake Gorge, which gets its name from the colubrine effect created by the mountains that "snake" through it. The gorge contains waterfalls emerging from its rocky walls, plenty of natural pools, and colossal boulders all around.

Stop at Jebel Shams
Continue the journey until you enter Wadi Ghul. It a farming village nearer to our next destination, Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak. An abandoned village in the north-western region of Al Hamra town of Oman, Wadi Ghul is best known as ‘The Grand Canyon of Arabia’ or the ‘Omani Grand Canyon’.
Jebel Shams is a mountainous region in the AL Hamra town. It nestles the highest mountains of Oman and is an important tourist destination. The word ‘Jebel Shams’ translates into ‘Mountain of the Sun’ since it receives the first sunrise of the region. A moderate temperature of the mountains during the summers make it an ideal location to beat the Arabian heat. People coming here indulge in various activities including hiking, exploring near-by villages, camping and star-watching, night photography, etc. The stunning view of Al Nakhr Canyon or The Grand Canyon of Arabia from Jebel Shams is sure to leave you spell-bound.

Stop at Nizwa
Later you will be will then be headed to the historic town of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. Check into the hotel.

Stop at Nizwa Fort & Souq
Start the tour with visit to Nizwa Fort which is famous for its massive circular cannon tower, antiques and silver jewelry. You will visit the ancient Nizwa Fort whose history dates back to the 12th century. It was built by Sultan Bin Saif Yaruba, the first imam of the Yaruba Dynasty. When inside the fort, you’ll be thrilled to pass through its ancient doorways, narrow staircases and corridors, high-ceiling halls, and a maze of rooms. As Nizwa is a town that is surrounded by date palms, one can enjoy an amazing view of the entire town and its date plantation from the top of the tower.
You would then pass through the traditional Nizwa souk, a place where you find hand-carved ceremonial daggers, called the ‘khanjars’, and ornate silver jewelry.

Stop at Wahiba Sands
The tour then proceeds to visit the exotic desert beauty, Wahiba Sands. It is located at a distance of about 200 km from Nizwa. Enjoy the enthralling experience of 4x4 dune bashing through the white and golden dunes of the desert followed by watching sunset in one of the big sand dunes.
Finish the day with the dinner at the camp.

Stop at Wadi Bani Khalid
08AM Start today’s tour with visit to Wadi Bani Khalid, a picturesque wadi surrounded by green palm trees, sets the perfect example for a true oasis. Enjoy swimming in the deep blue cool water, sunbathing and picnic in the beautiful scenic wadi canyons.
Stop at Sur
Proceed to beautiful town Sur, famous for its shipyards where the Dhows, the typical Omani boat, are still built with traditional methods. Visit the lighthouse and the fishermen's houses which carries the legacy of Africa with the doors of the carved houses.

Stop at Ras Al Jinz Reserve

Stop at Wadi Shab
Tour starts with first stop at Wadi Shab, one of the most popular gorges in Sultanate of Oman. A deep canyon, flora and fauna, small water pools of emerald water and a waterfall in a cave will give enchanting experience.
Stop at Fins Beach
Next short stop at Fins beach. Witness the white sand with clean blue waters to swim. You can also find coral and fishes in the deep clear blue waters if lucky.

Stop at Bimmah Sinkhole
Proceed to Bimmah Sinkhole.A sea water-filled depression which is 30m deep is structurally a sinkhole. Locally known as “PLACE OF POWER”. Witness the most picturesque beauty in the desert. As the limestone mountain rocks fill the water and the cool breeze splashes you with freshness.
